Join us February 4-5, 2026 on the Queen Mary in Long Beach for an in-depth examination of the laws, procedures, and documentation requirements governing record sealing and detention certificates in California. We’ll cover eligibility, statutory criteria, and criminal history reporting. Training will cover the full lifecycle of a record sealing request from receipt of a petition through final disposition, including verification of eligibility, evidence requirements, timelines, court-ordered responsibilities, and proper handling of confidential information. Emphasis will be placed on the preparation and processing of petitions, minutes orders, and sealing / expungement notifications, as well as responding to judicial inquiries.
